May 24 2010: One Day ‘Targa Bambina Canada West' Event

While a five day event in 2010 is no longer planned, TCW has targeted a one-day Kelowna area Targa-style competition on May 24, 2010. The date is a Canadian federal holiday Monday, and the day after the 53rd Knox Mountain Hill Climb in Kelowna finishes. Pacific Northwesters should find this of interest, particularly those curious about Knox Mountain., www.knoxmtnhillclimb.ca. You'd have three days of motorsport competition if you string together Knox Mountain and Targa Bambina.

As a one day Targa Bambina format in 2010, new competitors and volunteers would be able to experience Targa from a low threshold of time and expense required. 2010 will showcase for all observers what a great event the 5-day, ~40 stage, ~500 km International 2011 Targa Canada West will prove to be.
